Manufacturing Manager

About the role

The Manufacturing Manager will lead the planning, organization, and control of manufacturing processes to achieve production targets while ensuring efficient use of equipment and personnel. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement, cost‑saving initiatives, and maintaining high safety and quality standards across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate staff activities, including training, performance evaluation, hiring, and goal setting.
• Evaluate department processes and methods to optimize resource and equipment utilization.
• Oversee budget, expenditures, and cost‑saving projects.
• Design and implement tooling and processing solutions for cost‑effective manufacturing.
• Qualify vendors for product manufacturing when required.
• Provide technical assistance to other NOV facilities.
• Lead manufacturing activities such as product assembly, industrial engineering, and process improvement (Kaizen, 5S).
• Collaborate with HSE and Quality Assurance to enhance safety programs and product quality.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience.
• At least 3 years of managerial experience.
• Experience with MRP/MPS systems; knowledge of Oracle is preferred.
• Proficient English speaking and writing skills.
