Manufacturing Maintenance Technician – Electrical

About the role

The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician – Electrical is responsible for ensuring the reliability and uptime of all electrical and automation equipment on the production shift. This role involves preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of complex systems in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance on Siemens PLCs, FANUC robots, CNC machines, conveyors, VFDs, heaters and utility equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance plans and respond to breakdowns, conducting root‑cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical panels, sensors, HMIs, control systems, switchgear, battery chargers and transformers.
• Commission, calibrate and troubleshoot field instruments and PID control systems.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure compliance with safety protocols (LOTO, electrical safety, work at height) and company standards (EHS, ISO, OHSAS, WCM).

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical operation, installation, testing and maintenance of industrial power systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Siemens PLC programming, DCS, HMI, and drive technologies.
• Strong background in field instrumentation, PID control, and automation troubleshooting.
• Ability to conduct thorough inspections of switch yards, control rooms and related equipment.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and compliance standards in an industrial setting.
