Manager, Specialist Sales – Transfer Solutions

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager – Transfer Solutions to drive product commercialization and go‑to‑market execution for its Transfer Solutions (Cross Border Services and Mastercard Send) across India and South Asia. The role will lead the rollout of these services, working closely with regional, global and market teams to scale capabilities and achieve aggressive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support the India and South Asia business development lead in developing country commercialization strategy, market sizing and use‑case analysis.
• Design a product suite that addresses key pain points of banks, NBFIs and merchants in money‑movement flows.
• Prospect, negotiate and contract banks and NBFIs, coordinating with product development, operations, legal, finance and market teams.
• Identify and evolve use cases based on consumer insights, conducting research and partner interviews.
• Structure deals with distribution partners and own account‑level P&L, including pricing and corridor optimization.
• Develop industry partnerships, strategic alliances and bundling opportunities within Transfer Solutions.
• Monitor competition, market trends and recommend actions based on research findings.
• Collaborate with country and regional SME teams to define go‑to‑market approaches and new product features.

Required profile

• Highly collaborative with ability to manage relationships across functional areas, regional executives and strategic partners.
• Strong business acumen and experience delivering solutions that drive results for customers and Mastercard.
• Cross‑functional team leadership managing multiple complex projects under tight timelines.
• Deep knowledge of cross‑border and faster‑payment industries.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; able to influence senior management.
• Prior experience in sales and product commercialization, with proven problem‑solving track record.
• Transaction banking experience; MBA preferred but not mandatory.
