Manager – Post Merger Integration (Deal Value)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager to lead post‑merger integration initiatives within its Deal Value (DDV) advisory practice. You will work with clients to design integration strategies, manage complex cross‑functional projects and ensure the realisation of synergies after acquisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop integration strategies, operating model blueprints and detailed day‑1, day‑100 and long‑term integration plans.
• Provide end‑to‑end integration project management, including risk, dependency and issue management across functional areas.
• Track and report synergy capture, coordinating with function owners and stakeholders.
• Lead carve‑out and divestiture activities, including separation cost identification, stand‑alone assessments and Transitional Service Agreements.
• Conduct pre‑deal operational assessments and synergy planning to support transaction decisions.
• Manage large‑scale, cross‑functional programmes and projects, ensuring timely delivery and value creation.

Required profile

• Significant experience in post‑merger integration, carve‑out or operational assessment.
• Strong background in strategy, synergy assessment and tracking.
• Proven programme or project management experience in large, cross‑functional environments.
• Management consulting experience, preferably within functional consulting domains.
