Maintenance Engineer – Rotating & Static Equipment

About the role

FMC Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support its agro‑chemical manufacturing site in Panoli. The role focuses on maintaining rotating and static equipment, ensuring reliable plant operation and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain rotating and static equipment such as pumps, mechanical seals, reactors, gearboxes, blowers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, rotary valves and screw conveyors.
• Execute preventive, predictive and condition‑based maintenance programs using vibration measurement, laser alignment, NDT, UT, MPT and welder qualification techniques.
• Perform root‑cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare equipment spares, manage inventory, and maintain engineering records and daily/monthly reports.
• Plan and execute equipment installations, MOC piping changes, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Reduce downtime through proper analysis and effective manpower handling.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, departmental documentation, and environmental policies.

Required profile

• BE in Mechanical Engineering with 3‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Hands‑on experience with rotating and static equipment in chemical or agro‑chemical plants.
• Familiarity with condition‑based maintenance techniques and RCA.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong problem‑solving ability, attention to detail and good communication skills.
