MAG Welder

About the role

The MAG Welder will join our manufacturing team in Jharkhand, performing metal active gas welding on components for power transmission and distribution systems. This full‑time, on‑site position requires strict adherence to technical drawings, welding procedures, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare materials and set up welding equipment according to job specifications.
• Execute MAG welds to meet defined quality and dimensional standards.
• Inspect completed welds for defects and perform corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain welding fixtures, tools, and equipment, ensuring they are in safe working condition.
• Document welding activities and support routine equipment checks and housekeeping.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure seamless workflow.

Required profile

• Solid experience in MAG welding or similar processes.
• Ability to read and interpret welding symbols and technical drawings.
• Understanding of basic metallurgy, weld quality standards, and inspection techniques.
• Relevant vocational training, ITI, or certification in welding/fabrication.
• Physical capability to work on the shop floor, including standing for long periods.
• Willingness to work in shifts as required by production.
