Machine Operator – Industrial Production

About the role

The Machine Operator position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Chennai. You will be responsible for setting up, operating and monitoring machinery used in mining and metal‑related processes, ensuring safe and efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect equipment before use and perform minor adjustments.
• Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures.
• Use appropriate hand tools for set‑up and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct basic quality checks on finished or in‑process materials.
• Report any defects or equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues, adhering to safety regulations.
• Accurately document production activities.

Required profile

• 2nd pass, Diploma or Graduate qualification.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Good communication skills for following written and verbal instructions.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Basic technical or vocational training in mechanical, production or related fields is an advantage.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle moderate physical tasks in an industrial setting.
