Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer ensures the safety of guests, employees, and property at our resort in Vagator Beach, Goa. You will patrol the premises, monitor security systems, and respond swiftly to emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and lock entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Conduct daily hazard inspections and respond to accidents, providing first aid/CPR as needed.
• Assist guests and staff during emergencies, defuse disturbances, and escort unwelcome persons.
• Prepare incident reports, shift summaries and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.
• Support guest services by welcoming guests, assisting individuals with disabilities and ensuring a professional appearance.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand, walk or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Commitment to confidentiality, company policies and safety standards.
• Willingness to obtain any required licensing or certifications.
