Loss Prevention Expert – Security & Loss Prevention

About the role

Amazon is seeking proactive, solution‑oriented professionals to join its Global Security Operations team as Loss Prevention Experts. In this role you will provide security‑as‑a‑service across operational sites, protecting people, assets and ensuring business continuity throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Support business resilience by contributing to emergency and crisis planning for assigned sites.
• Identify vulnerabilities such as loss, associate experience gaps, and process inefficiencies, and define mitigating actions while complying with legal and ethical standards.
• Serve as the primary contact for risk management, coordinating with local management, law‑enforcement agencies and industry associations.
• Ensure sites meet Amazon’s global security standards and lead security‑related projects at local, regional and country levels.
• Conduct regular physical security audits, investigate policy violations, incidents and loss events, and analyse data to uncover root causes.
• Maintain the health of security systems, work with external providers and subject‑matter experts to keep infrastructure functional.
• Deliver loss‑prevention education and awareness programs across all management levels.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams, external providers and law‑enforcement partners.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
