Loss Prevention Executive

About the role

The Loss Prevention Executive is responsible for safeguarding the property, its guests, and employees by monitoring security systems, conducting inspections, and responding to emergencies. This full‑time, onsite position ensures a safe environment while upholding company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property, secure rooms, and control access to restricted zones.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, authorise and document entry to secured areas.
• Conduct emergency response drills, safety inspections, investigations, and key‑control audits.
• Provide first aid/CPR, contact EMS, and manage accident reports.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and enforce alcoholic beverage control laws.
• Maintain confidentiality of reports and proprietary information.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies and address service needs.
• Support management in training, coaching, and promoting a fair‑treatment culture.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, run, and respond quickly throughout a shift.
• Physical capacity to lift up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate written reports.
• Professional appearance, clear communication, and adherence to company policies.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets.

Required skills

• Operation of Closed‑Circuit Television (CCTV) monitoring systems.
• Management of alarm and security systems.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Key‑control audit procedures.
• Proficient use of computers and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
