Logistics Project Professional

About the role

The Logistics Project Professional will support Siemens Smart Infrastructure operations in Pondicherry, India. This position focuses on managing purchase, stock, and export processes to ensure smooth logistics flow across domestic and international supply chains.

Key responsibilities

• Process Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for domestic and import transactions, including MIRO handling.
• Run open purchase orders and coordinate with the GBS team for sales order creation.
• Ensure palletization aligns with export order requirements.
• Maintain and verify physical stock, including inward and outward material movements.
• Share dispatch details for domestic shipments with regional teams.
• Create purchase requisitions and allocate cost centers for regional billing.
• Manage loading/unloading bill processes for payment.
• Prepare export documentation, invoices, packing lists, supporting documents, and labels.
• Verify interim account statements and pass entries through the GBS team.
• Coordinate and monitor overall store activities.
