Logistics Planning & Operations Analyst

About the role

The Logistics Planning & Operations Analyst will manage end‑to‑end export shipment planning, ensuring compliance with Incoterms, customs regulations, and customer requirements. You will coordinate across multiple plants, shipping lines, and agencies to achieve monthly dispatch targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute export shipments (air, rail, ocean) from various Indian loading ports, from cargo readiness to bill of lading release.
• Achieve monthly export dispatch targets across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Coordinate bookings with shipping companies and forwarding agents, and ensure timely gate‑in and loading list submissions.
• Update shipment status in SAP and communicate progress to customer service teams.
• Liaise with planners, dispatch, QC, CHAs, transporters, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and inspection agencies.
• Resolve issues with customs, shipping lines, CFS, and other allied agencies.
• Prepare MIS reports and monitor KPIs related to delivery timeliness and shipment costs.
• Provide advance container volume forecasts to shipping lines, CHAs, and transporters.

Required profile

• 4‑10 years of experience in export/import logistics and operations.
• Strong knowledge of EXIM policies, Incoterms, payment terms, UCP rules, and customs regulations.
• Familiarity with handling hazardous cargo and international transportation modes.
• Experience coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
