Logistics Lead – E‑commerce

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Lead to design and build an end‑to‑end logistics and fulfilment network for our e‑commerce marketplace. You will shape dark‑store locations, hub‑and‑spoke models and last‑mile delivery operations across multiple cities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the logistics network, including dark stores, micro‑fulfilment centres and regional hubs.
• Own relationships with 3PL partners, courier aggregators and hyper‑local delivery networks; negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance.
• Optimize delivery economics, turnaround times and cost‑per‑shipment while defining SLAs for same‑hour and same‑day delivery.
• Track logistics KPIs such as on‑time delivery, damage rates, fill rate and cost metrics.
• Collaborate with the Ops Tech lead to integrate logistics workflows into the platform.
• Develop reverse‑logistics and returns management processes.
• Scale the operations team as the business expands to new cities and clusters.

Required profile

• 7–12 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or fulfilment operations, preferably in e‑commerce or quick‑commerce.
• Proven track record designing and operating dark stores, micro‑fulfilment centres or distribution hubs in India.
• Deep understanding of last‑mile delivery economics, rider/fleet management and routing optimisation in metro/Tier‑1 cities.
• Strong analytical mindset and experience with logistics/warehouse management systems and cost modelling.
• Demonstrated vendor‑management and contract‑negotiation skills with 3PL and courier partners.
