Logistics Executive – US Operation

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Logistics Executive to oversee daily logistics operations for our US business unit. The role involves planning shipments, handling documentation, coordinating transport, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound logistics activities.
• Manage domestic and international shipments, including booking, scheduling and tracking.
• Prepare accurate shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, airway bills and bills of lading.
• Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders and customs agents to ensure smooth clearance.
• Maintain records of shipments, inventory and logistics performance.
• Identify delays, monitor logistics metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse and operations teams to streamline processes.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company policies.
• Prepare reports on logistics costs, delivery timelines and performance.
• Resolve logistics‑related issues and provide updates to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, shipping or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance, freight forwarding and transportation management.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and pay close attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP or logistics software.
