Lobby Ambassador

About the role

The Lobby Ambassador is the first point of contact for guests at Fairmont Mumbai, responsible for creating lasting first and last impressions. Working in the hotel lobby and arrival areas, you will engage proactively with guests, anticipate their needs and coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless, personalized experience throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and departure, providing professional assistance and local recommendations.
• Serve as the primary lobby point of contact, handling inquiries, directions, and information about hotel facilities.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest requests, including transportation, restaurant reservations, and special occasion arrangements.
• Escort VIPs, long‑stay and special‑occasion guests as required.
• Maintain a visible presence in the lobby to engage proactively with guests and support service recovery.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping and Bell Desk to ensure smooth arrivals, departures and overall guest flow.
• Promote the hotel’s dining outlets, wellness offerings, events and other services.
