Litigation Lawyer – US & India Legal Research (Freelancer)

About the role

Deccan AI Experts is looking for a freelance Litigation Lawyer with deep knowledge of both U.S. and Indian legal systems. You will work on AI‑generated legal content, helping to improve the accuracy and relevance of AI‑driven legal research, compliance, and documentation across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality legal deliverables for common scenarios and professional use cases.
• Review, annotate, and evaluate AI‑generated legal outputs for accuracy, completeness, clarity, and sound legal reasoning.
• Assess AI outputs related to contracts, legal research, compliance frameworks, legal summaries, policies, and correspondence in both the United States and India.
• Identify jurisdiction‑specific legal inaccuracies, reasoning gaps, compliance risks, and unsupported conclusions.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI‑generated legal analysis and documentation.
• Review peer‑generated legal deliverables to ensure consistency and research quality.
• Contribute domain expertise to enhance AI systems focused on legal reasoning and regulatory understanding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB, JD, LLM) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with both U.S. and Indian legal systems.
• Strong understanding of legal research, drafting, contracts, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in law firms, corporate legal departments, compliance functions, or multinational organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with U.S. federal and state laws and Indian legal frameworks.
• Experience using legal research tools, legal databases, and document review processes.
