Leisure Facility Assistant

About the role

The Assistant will support the daily operations of a leisure facility in Varanasi, acting as the first point of contact for visitors, handling enquiries, coordinating bookings and ensuring that activity areas are clean, safe and ready for use.

Key responsibilities

• Greet visitors, answer phone and in‑person queries, and provide information about facility services.
• Manage booking schedules, update reservation systems and confirm appointments.
• Assist with front‑desk duties, including check‑ins, cash handling and basic administrative paperwork.
• Prepare and maintain activity areas, supporting set‑up for events, programmes and special activities.
• Maintain accurate records, logs and simple reports related to facility usage.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment, escalating issues when necessary.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear, professional communication.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented and proactive in solving everyday operational issues.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced leisure environment.
• Minimum high school diploma; further education in hospitality or management is a plus.

Required skills

• Basic computer applications such as email.
• Spreadsheets for scheduling and record‑keeping.
• Familiarity with booking systems and willingness to learn new tools.
