Legal Officer – Litigation & Compliance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Legal Officer to oversee all litigation, non‑litigation, compliance and regulatory matters across the organization. The role involves drafting legal documents, coordinating with senior counsel, government agencies and internal teams to ensure robust legal risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Attend court matters, draft and file applications, affidavits, notices and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research, case law analysis and provide strategic legal opinions.
• Coordinate with senior counsel and management to plan defence strategies and keep stakeholders updated.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including AMCs, NDAs, SLAs, software licences and joint‑venture contracts.
• Monitor contract renewals, draft employment and service contracts, and support HR processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, advise on regulatory changes and assist in implementing compliance policies.
• Coordinate trademark filings, renewals and maintain trademark records.
• Liaise with government authorities, draft official letters and manage statutory communications.

Required profile

• Strong legal drafting and research abilities.
• Excellent communication and liaison skills.
• Sound knowledge of litigation and corporate legal processes.
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
