Legal Manager

About the role

The Legal Manager will lead the organization’s litigation portfolio, ensuring effective case handling, compliance with court orders, and proactive risk mitigation. This role works closely with internal teams and external counsel to protect the company’s legal interests across a range of dispute types.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ongoing and new litigation matters, covering civil, criminal, labour, consumer, and commercial disputes.
• Draft legal notices, replies, written statements, affidavits, and petitions.
• Coordinate with external advocates for hearings, case strategy, and settlement discussions.
• Track hearings, maintain a litigation calendar, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with court orders, legal notices, and regulatory requirements.
• Support dispute resolution and settlement negotiations.

Required profile

• Strong exposure to litigation handling and case management.
• Excellent legal drafting abilities.
• Experience in BAUI/legal risk management is highly preferred.
