Legal Executive – Intellectual Property Rights

About the role
We are seeking a Legal Executive specialized in Intellectual Property Rights to manage and protect our trademark portfolio. The role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of trademark applications, renewals, oppositions and infringement monitoring.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update the company’s IP portfolio, ensuring timely renewals.
- Draft, file and prosecute trademark applications, including responding to objections.
- Monitor trademark journals weekly and initiate opposition proceedings when necessary.
- Conduct surveillance of the market for potential IP infringements and coordinate enforcement actions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to protect IP assets.
- Prepare and review submissions and related documents for IP proceedings.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of trademark law and IP procedures.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for coordination with stakeholders.
