Legal Entity Controller – Director, Corporate Controllers

About the role

We are looking for a senior Legal Entity Controller to join our Corporate Controllers, Reporting & Accounting team. The role partners with global business units, providing management, review, analysis and advisory services on the firm’s financial and capital resources.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance colleagues and cross‑functional teams worldwide.
• Lead deliverables and projects, ensuring compliance with risk and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and review monthly Balance Sheet and P&L, including detailed variance analysis.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and validate US Federal Reserve entity‑level reporting.
• Coordinate legal entity activities with tax, legal, and other internal experts.
• Support business units in entity set‑up, opening, closing and ledger/system adaptations.
• Maintain relationships with external auditors, Product Control, Company Secretarial, and Tax functions.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of finance functional areas, products or client segments.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and organisational skills.
• Experience building and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in legal entity controllership or financial reporting.

Required skills

• IFRS knowledge (advantageous).
• US GAAP knowledge (advantageous).
• Understanding of financial products such as derivatives.
• Tax compliance expertise.
• Statutory financial statement preparation.
• US Federal Reserve reporting experience.
