Legal Counsel – Contracts & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel specialized in contracts and compliance to join our fast‑growing team in Mumbai. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to provide practical, business‑oriented legal solutions while managing risk across corporate and real‑estate matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate buy‑side and sell‑side agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, SaaS, vendor and customer contracts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Indian laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Support real‑estate transactions, lease agreements and related legal documentation.
• Coordinate with external counsel, assist in dispute resolution and manage legal filings.
• Provide proactive legal advisory and identify risk‑mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• LLB / BA LLB (mandatory); LLM or CS is a plus.
• 4–5 years of experience in corporate or in‑house legal roles.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Good knowledge of Indian corporate and contract law.
• Exposure to real‑estate legal matters is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
