Legal Counsel – Commercial Documentation & Litigation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced in‑house legal professional to provide high‑quality, timely support across commercial documentation, dispute resolution and regulatory compliance. The role involves drafting and negotiating agreements, managing litigation and arbitration matters, and conducting compliance audits to safeguard the business.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and standardise a wide range of commercial agreements, identifying and mitigating legal risks.
• Lead dispute, arbitration and litigation processes, including briefing external counsel, preparing statements and attending hearings.
• Conduct periodic compliance audits, risk assessments and monitor regulatory changes to ensure adherence to internal policies and applicable laws.
• Collaborate with business units to negotiate contract terms and provide proactive legal advice.
• Maintain accurate litigation records and provide regular updates on case progress.

Required profile

• In‑house legal experience handling commercial contracts, litigation and compliance matters.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret statutes, regulations and judicial developments.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders and external counsel.

Required skills

• Proficiency with litigation management tools such as Provakil.
