Legal Advisor

About the role

Lawyer Settle is seeking a full‑time Legal Advisor to join its South Delhi office. You will provide clear, practical legal guidance to individuals facing recovery‑related harassment, loan and debt challenges, and other financial disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Meet clients, assess their cases, and explain legal rights and remedies.
• Draft and review legal documents such as notices, agreements, and case summaries.
• Prepare concise case summaries for internal and external use.
• Coordinate with external legal and financial experts as needed.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations and contribute to internal knowledge resources.
• Support the creation of client‑facing guidance and educational materials.

Required profile

• LL.B. degree; LL.M. or specialized certifications in financial or consumer law are a plus.
• Practical experience handling financial dispute matters and consumer issues.
• Strong client‑service orientation, ethical judgment, and discretion.
• Ability to work independently on‑site and collaborate with internal and external experts.

Required skills

• Proficiency in legal document preparation, including drafting notices, agreements, and case summaries.
• Ability to analyze legal issues related to recovery practices, debt resolution, and client rights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts in simple language.
