Legal Advisor

About the role

LotusFlare is seeking an experienced Legal Advisor to support its cloud‑native SaaS and telecom products. You will work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure legal compliance and protect the company’s interests worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate software licensing, SaaS, partnership, and service agreements with telecom operators and other partners.
• Ensure compliance with telecom regulations, data‑privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), cybersecurity statutes, and export controls across multiple jurisdictions.
• Identify legal risks, provide proactive counsel, and manage dispute resolution, including coordination with external counsel.
• Protect intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and oversee open‑source licensing compliance.
• Advise on corporate governance, employment law, and internal compliance policies.
• Conduct legal due diligence and support M&A or strategic partnership activities.

Required profile

• J.D. or equivalent law degree with bar admission in a relevant jurisdiction.
• 8+ years of experience in commercial deals related to telecoms and enterprise software.
• 8+ years of experience in corporate law, commercial contracts, or technology transactions, preferably within telecom or enterprise software.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS agreements, telecom regulations, and international business law.
• Experience handling data‑privacy, cybersecurity, and intellectual‑property matters.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills with a business‑oriented approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities.
