Compliance Analyst – Expert Network

About the role

AlphaSense is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support its Expert Network business in Pune. Reporting to the Head of Expert Network, you will help ensure expert sourcing and client engagements meet compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review prospective experts for client projects, assessing compliance considerations such as employment history, confidentiality obligations and potential material non‑public information.
• Conduct expert onboarding and compliance reviews, verifying prior employment, topics of discussion and MNPI risks.
• Provide day‑to‑day compliance guidance to sourcing teams, escalating complex or high‑risk matters as needed.
• Support client onboarding by reviewing specific requirements, establishing sourcing protocols and communicating compliance expectations.
• Respond to ongoing client compliance inquiries, assist with due‑diligence requests and maintain accurate records of reviews and decisions.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in compliance, legal, operations, financial services or related research/analysis roles; recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to apply policies consistently.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Organized, reliable and capable of managing multiple requests in a fast‑paced environment.
