Lead Technology Analyst – SAP Native HANA & ABAP on HANA

About the role

As a Lead Technology Analyst in the Data Product Team for Procurement Digital Solutions, you will own the end‑to‑end data pipeline from SAP back‑ends to the data lake. You will work closely with functional consultants, big‑data developers and external subcontractors to deliver high‑quality data services for an aircraft manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) from SAP HANA and ABAP systems.
• Develop SAP Native HANA data models (calculation views, table functions, procedures) and CDS/OData services.
• Define architecture patterns, security, and best practices in collaboration with central architecture teams.
• Monitor interfaces, manage service deliverables, and ensure KPIs are met.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data models.

Required profile

• Graduate degree with 6+ years of experience as a SAP HANA developer.
• Proven experience in SAP Native HANA data modeling and ABAP backend navigation.
• Hands‑on experience with configuration management tools (SolMan, Git, Jenkins).
• Experience working with external subcontractors and in customer‑facing roles.
• Background in the aircraft manufacturing or similar industrial sector is a plus.
