Lead Software Engineer – Commercial Solutions

About the role

Lead the design and delivery of cloud‑native, full‑stack solutions for Mastercard’s Commercial Solutions business in Pune. You will drive the creation of microservices and web applications that enable B2B payment experiences for corporate clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and develop scalable microservices that form the core of the B2B payments platform.
• Build and maintain full‑stack applications using Angular and related front‑end technologies.
• Collaborate with product, data and architecture teams to make data‑driven decisions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in code quality and security.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑stack software development, preferably in a lead or senior role.
• Strong background in building microservices and cloud‑native applications.
• Ability to work onsite in Pune within an Agile, collaborative environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a data‑centric mindset.
