Lead Mobile Engineer – Android & iOS

About the role

Interactly.ai is looking for a Lead Mobile Engineer to own the design, development and delivery of native and cross‑platform mobile applications for Android and iOS. You will shape the mobile architecture, integrate Voice AI, conversational AI and real‑time features, and ensure a polished, accessible experience for patients and healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive mobile architecture for native (Kotlin/Java, Swift) and cross‑platform (React Native, Flutter) apps.
• Set coding standards, best practices and lead the mobile engineering practice.
• Own the full app release lifecycle: store submissions, versioning, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Integrate Voice AI, LLM‑powered features, streaming, push notifications and WebSocket communication.
• Monitor performance, crashes and user feedback; continuously improve stability and speed.
• Mentor and review work of mobile engineers, fostering a high‑ownership, AI‑first culture.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of professional mobile development experience (Android & iOS).
• Proven track record leading mobile architecture decisions and delivering apps at scale.
• Strong ownership mindset with experience in full‑cycle app releases.
• Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating with product, design and backend teams.
• Passion for AI‑first development and building healthcare‑focused solutions.
