Lead Hostess – High Energy Cocktail Bar

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Lead Hostess to manage the front‑of‑house experience at our high‑energy cocktail bar, Tequiro, located within The Ritz‑Carlton Bangalore. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth seating, reservations, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phones, take dining reservations, and input guest information into the reservation system.
• Maintain the wait list, provide accurate wait times, and make seating decisions using the station rotation chart.
• Organise seating for large parties and guests with special needs, ensuring clean tables, proper place settings, and menu placement.
• Guide guests through the dining area, monitor seating availability, service flow, and safety.
• Support management with hiring, training, scheduling, and employee coaching.
• Uphold company policies, safety procedures, uniform standards, and confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant hospitality or front‑of‑house experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 10 lb throughout the shift.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a reservation system.
