Lead Engineer Production

About the role

The Lead Engineer Production will drive performance improvements across deep‑water and coal‑bed methane (CBM) assets. You will use advanced analytical methods and simulation tools to optimise production, increase equipment uptime and support strategic decisions while ensuring strict health, safety and environmental compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily production, analyse deviations and assess well completion, inflow/outflow curves and artificial lift performance.
• Evaluate surface facilities, pipeline networks, produced hydrocarbons, water chemistry and flow‑assurance aspects.
• Conduct in‑depth studies using OLGA, PIPESIM and PROSPER to identify optimisation and debottlenecking opportunities.
• Provide independent technical assurance on asset proposals and ensure compliance with industry codes, standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with asset, site and business teams to implement technical solutions and improve reliability and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• B.E / B.Tech in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering.
• 8‑10 years of experience in upstream oil & gas production operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OLGA, PIPESIM and PROSPER simulation software.
• Strong knowledge of artificial lift systems and flow‑assurance principles.
• Experience in production performance analysis, surface facility evaluation and water management.
• Ability to conduct technical assurance reviews and ensure regulatory compliance.
