Lead AI Engineer – Agentic Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a Lead AI Engineer to drive the development of next‑generation Agentic AI and AI‑powered engineering systems at Blend360. This role goes beyond traditional GenAI chatbot work, focusing on production‑grade agentic systems integrated into the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Champion Agentic Engineering practices across the SDLC, using AI agents to automate tasks such as requirements analysis, code generation, testing, and deployment.
• Design and build multi‑agent architectures that plan, reason, use tools, manage context, and recover from errors in production environments.
• Develop production‑grade LLM applications with frameworks like LangGraph or LangChain, implementing RAG, semantic search, and observability.
• Provide technical leadership on AI‑powered software products, conduct design reviews, and mentor engineering teams.
• Define and run evaluation frameworks (Evals) to measure agent correctness, reliability, and overall effectiveness.

Required profile

• 6+ years of software or AI engineering experience with a strong track record of building production‑grade applications.
• Hands‑on experience creating production‑grade Agentic AI systems and designing evaluation datasets, metrics, and automated regression tests.
• Deep understanding of multi‑agent architectures, context management, tool use, and autonomous task execution.
• Proven ability to integrate AI agents into the SDLC using tools such as Claude Code, PI, or Hermes Agent.
