About the role

Shalini Malhotra & Co. is seeking a qualified Lawyer to join its Bangalore office. The role involves providing legal advice, conducting thorough research, and managing cases from inception to resolution while working closely with clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases.
• Draft legal documents, attend hearings, and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Manage all aspects of assigned cases, ensuring timely progress and accurate documentation.
• Communicate clearly with clients, colleagues, and external parties to exchange information effectively.
• Apply analytical thinking to assess complex legal issues and develop strategic solutions.
• Stay updated on legal developments, statutes, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and growth‑focused work environment.

Required profile

• Qualified law degree with a strong understanding of Indian business laws, including Companies Act, 2013, labor laws, FEMA, and taxation compliance.
• Proven experience in legal research, case management, and courtroom representation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex legal problems.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
