Laundry Associate

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a reliable Laundry Associate to join its Housekeeping & Laundry team in New Delhi. You will be responsible for operating and monitoring laundry and dry‑cleaning equipment, ensuring all linens and garments are cleaned to the brand’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate washing, drying and dry‑cleaning machines, add chemicals, and clean lint traps.
• Identify stained or damaged items and decide on repair, re‑wash, spot‑treatment or discard.
• Inspect cleaned items, fold them by hand or using a folding machine, and place them in clean linen carts.
• Set dryer times and temperatures according to fabric type and perform routine equipment cleaning.
• Maintain accurate records of laundered items and follow all safety, security and company policies.
• Support team goals, uphold professional appearance, and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• No high‑school diploma or prior experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.
• Comfortable working in narrow, confined or elevated spaces and on uneven surfaces.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures, attend training and report hazards.
