Land Acquisition & Legal Specialist

About the role

The Land Acquisition & Legal Specialist will support UltraTech Cement’s Baga Cement Works in managing land acquisition, related legal matters and government compliance. The role focuses on preparing documentation, handling court cases and ensuring smooth settlement of land disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the land acquisition plan, including searching and preparing acquisition, purchase and allotment documents.
• Prepare rehabilitation documentation and coordinate related activities.
• Plan and monitor expenses for land-related documents, legal fees, demarcation and day‑to‑day operations.
• Follow up pending land cases in various courts, including mutation, conversion and stamp‑duty matters.
• Draft agreements, notices and police FIRs, and conduct title searches for land parcels.
• Support quicker settlement of critical court cases and reduce the number of ongoing disputes.

Required profile

• Experience in land acquisition, rehabilitation and related legal processes.
• Familiarity with court procedures, land mutation and conversion cases.
• Ability to prepare and review legal documents, agreements and notices.
• Strong coordination skills with government agencies and internal teams.
