Chief Development Officer – Luxury Real Estate

About the role

The Chief Development Officer (CDO) will lead ProEdge Services' project delivery ecosystem for ultra‑luxury real estate, based in Bengaluru, India. Reporting to the CEO, the CDO translates the company’s global vision into flawless execution across development, construction, project management and bespoke interiors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end project lifecycle from planning and development through construction, interiors delivery, handover and post‑delivery customer experience.
• Drive operational excellence, execution discipline, project profitability, quality standards and organizational scalability.
• Build and lead high‑performance project organisations capable of delivering world‑class luxury developments.
• Collaborate with corporate functions such as Finance, People & Culture, Legal, Business Development, Land Acquisition and Capital Raising.
• Implement global best practices in project management, construction governance and operational processes within a high‑growth Indian environment.

Required profile

• 20+ years of leadership experience in luxury real estate development, construction, integrated project delivery or hospitality development.
• Proven track record managing multiple concurrent premium projects and delivering high‑end customer expectations.
• Executive experience as CDO, Managing Director, Development Director, Delivery Director, Construction Head or equivalent.
• Significant international exposure, preferably in North America, Europe or the GCC.
• Strong commercial acumen, ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and build scalable governance structures.
