About the role

The Kitchen Steward & Food & Beverage Associate ensures the kitchen and dining areas remain clean, hygienic and well‑stocked while supporting front‑of‑house service. The role combines dishwashing, sanitation, and basic guest service tasks to help deliver a smooth and pleasant dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, clean and sanitize all kitchen utensils, dishes, pots, pans and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, floors, storage and waste disposal zones.
• Operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment safely.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies according to safety guidelines.
• Collect and dispose of kitchen waste in line with hygiene standards.
• Assist chefs with basic support tasks and report any equipment faults.
• Set up and clear dining tables, service stations and assist guests with food and beverage orders.
• Deliver food and drinks from kitchen to service areas promptly.
• Greet guests courteously, handle basic requests and escalate complaints when needed.
• Support cashiering or billing processes when assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior experience in a hotel, restaurant, café or catering environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, sanitation and customer service standards.
