About the role
RARE Hospitality is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join its kitchen team in Alibag as Kitchen Stewards and Commis Chefs. You will support daily kitchen operations, maintain high hygiene standards, and assist senior chefs in food preparation within a professional hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and stewarding areas.
- Clean utensils, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
- Support chefs with basic kitchen setup and cleaning tasks.
- Assist in food preparation, cooking, and mise en place according to recipes.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, and ensure workstation organization.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Work collaboratively with senior chefs and the kitchen team, including shift work.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or catering environment.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and hygiene standards.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
