About the role
We are seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to support daily kitchen operations. The role involves handling deliveries, maintaining strict hygiene standards, and providing basic food preparation assistance in a busy hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and store deliveries, checking invoices for accuracy.
- Wash and sanitize kitchen equipment and heavy production tools in line with health and safety requirements.
- Clean floors daily and operate floor‑washing machines as needed.
- Perform small‑scale food preparation and simple cooking tasks.
- Keep the kitchen tidy and compliant with hygiene regulations at all times.
Required profile
- Current Food Hygiene certificate.
- Experience in a similar kitchen porter or support role preferred.
- Experience within the NHS environment is an advantage.
- Ability to work on own initiative and follow health & safety procedures.
