Kitchen Assistant & Prep Cook (Hybrid Role)

About the role

We are seeking two reliable Kitchen Assistants & Prep Cooks to join our café team in Dehradun. This hybrid position blends basic kitchen support with active food preparation, following our exclusive, custom‑made recipes. No professional chef experience is required – you will receive full, hands‑on training.

Key responsibilities

• Read and follow custom recipe cards to ensure consistent taste and presentation.
• Prepare large batches of bases, sauces, or baked goods ahead of peak hours.
• Assemble, plate, and present food items fresh when orders arrive.
• Maintain clean workstations, wash dishes, and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor ingredient levels, alert the owner when stock is low, and store deliveries properly.

Required profile

• High attention to detail and ability to follow step‑by‑step instructions.
• Coachable and eager to learn our specific kitchen culture and techniques.
• Ability to work quickly in a fast‑paced environment and stand for long periods.
• Positive attitude with strong communication skills for teamwork.
• Basic home cooking skills or prior café/restaurant exposure is a plus, but not mandatory.
