Key Account Manager

About the role

The Key Account Manager will lead sales and business development for 3M's graphics segment, focusing on large key accounts across Tamil Nadu and AP/Telangana. Based in Chennai, the role combines strategic account planning with hands‑on execution to grow revenue for commercial branding and transportation safety solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, acquire and nurture relationships with major customers in the graphics and architectural films market.
• Develop and implement account strategies that align with 3M’s branding and transportation safety objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create tailored graphic solutions such as vehicle wraps, wall and floor films, signage and window graphics.
• Drive sales cycles from prospecting through contract negotiation and post‑sale support.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform product positioning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in key‑account management or B2B sales, preferably within graphics, architectural films or related industries.
• Strong understanding of commercial branding and transportation safety solutions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Willingness to travel within Tamil Nadu and AP/Telangana as needed.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Chennai.
