Key Account Manager

About the role

The Key Account Manager will drive sales performance for one to three strategic accounts, acting as the primary liaison between Sensata and its key customers in India. This role focuses on aligning strategies, expanding business, and delivering exceptional customer service across direct end‑customers, OEMs, and channel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies for assigned strategic accounts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing key customers, acting as the single point of contact regardless of geography.
• Collaborate with internal sales managers and cross‑functional teams to identify growth opportunities and drive expansion.
• Monitor account performance, prepare forecasts, and report on sales results.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelors) or equivalent relevant experience.
• Team player able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple competing tasks.
• Strong oral, written and presentation communication abilities.
• Excellent organization, planning and time‑management skills.
• High ethical standards, integrity and personal accountability for results.
