Key Account Manager – Domestic Hotel Chains

About the role
MakeMyTrip’s Domestic Chains team is looking for a Key Account Manager to drive growth of branded hotel chains across India. You will work closely with C‑level partners of major hotel brands, providing insights and coordinating with internal teams to ensure inventory, pricing and quality standards are met.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with senior (C‑level) executives of domestic hotel chains to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Review monthly production reports, conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to top‑producing hotels.
- Plan and execute market visits, both virtual and in‑person, to discuss performance and train partners on the MakeMyTrip extranet.
- Perform competitive set analysis and share market insights to drive revenue growth.
- Ensure adequate inventory availability and price competitiveness throughout the year.
- Negotiate and close partnership deals, and strategise hotel marketing initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience in key account management within the hospitality or travel sector.
- Ability to interact with senior management and influence decision‑making.
- Willingness to travel across multiple Indian cities and spend up to 50 % of time in the field.
- Strong analytical mindset to interpret performance data and market trends.
