Key Account Manager – Business Development

About the role

The Business Development Manager – Global Wholesale Voice will drive new carrier, operator and wholesale voice partnerships across international markets. This hunter‑focused role generates new business, negotiates commercial agreements and converts signed deals into live traffic and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, acquire and onboard new wholesale voice accounts, carriers and strategic telecom partners.
• Develop and execute account acquisition plans, build a high‑quality pipeline and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing.
• Own the P&L of each account, drive revenue growth, and increase minutes/orders through strategic pricing and swaps.
• Sell a multi‑portfolio of solutions including IDD voice termination, SMS Hub and ITFS.
• Coordinate with product, finance, routing, pricing and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing service delivery.
• Monitor competition, provide market intelligence and create compelling business cases for each target account.

Required profile

• Proven track record in acquiring and managing wholesale voice or carrier accounts.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience drafting commercial agreements.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with routing, pricing, finance and operations teams.
• Experience managing account P&L and delivering revenue targets.
• Knowledge of IDD voice termination, SMS Hub and ITFS solutions.
