Junior Software Engineer

About the role

Gentrack is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join its global team developing innovative cleantech solutions for utilities. You will work alongside experienced developers, contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of high‑quality software products that support energy and water companies worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer requests and translate them into technical specifications.
• Produce solution artefacts, provide effort estimations, and participate in peer‑review processes.
• Develop, maintain, deploy, and support software throughout its lifecycle.
• Create documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
• Actively engage in agile ceremonies such as planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
