Junior Service Desk Specialist (Entry-Level)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Service Desk Specialist to join our IT team. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates who want to start a career in technical support, acting as the first point of contact for users needing assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and log incidents and service requests via phone, email or ticket portal.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software and network connectivity issues.
• Perform routine tasks such as password resets, account unlocks and simple application support.
• Escalate complex problems to L2/L3 teams while ensuring timely follow‑up.
• Contribute to internal knowledge‑base articles and user guides.
• Maintain a professional, customer‑focused attitude in all interactions.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in B.Sc, BCA, B.A or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Customer‑centric attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
