Junior Mechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our hydroelectric plant in Rosana, São Paulo. The role combines procurement support, supplier management, and hands‑on maintenance activities to ensure reliable plant operation while adhering to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the acquisition of materials, equipment, and technical services, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and competitive cost.
• Conduct quotations, negotiate terms, and monitor purchase orders with suppliers.
• Assist in defining technical specifications for purchases and service contracts.
• Maintain supplier relationships, track contracts, and oversee delivery flows.
• Support inventory control and supply‑planning activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and integrate maintenance needs.
• Participate in preventive, predictive, and corrective mechanical maintenance tasks on plant equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and corporate guidelines.

Required profile

• Completed technical education in Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or related fields.
• Familiarity with purchasing, supply chain, or planning processes (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems (preferred).
• Organized, proactive, and strong interpersonal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
