Junior Maintenance Engineer – 0-1 yr Experience

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer to join our automobile manufacturing plant. The role is ideal for candidates with 0‑1 years of experience who are eager to develop hands‑on skills in maintaining CNC, VMC and SPM equipment while supporting continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on CNC, VMC and SPM machines.
• Diagnose faults quickly to minimise machine downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports and check‑lists.
• Assist the production team with machine‑related issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering.
• Willingness to work in 12‑hour shift patterns.
• Good coordination with production and quality teams.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi preferred).
• Electrical panel wiring and circuit reading.
• Understanding of sensors, relays, contactors and VFDs.
• Hands‑on experience with CNC, VMC and SPM maintenance.
• Machine installation, alignment and ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
