Junior Architect (Residential Projects)

About the role

An architecture practice located in Tatabad, Coimbatore is seeking a Junior Architect with 0–2 years of experience to support residential architecture projects. The role will involve assisting with design development, technical documentation, consultant coordination, and overall project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and design proposals.
• Prepare presentation drawings, design development drawings, working drawings, and construction documentation.
• Produce plans, elevations, sections, and architectural details.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants during project development.
• Support material selection and architectural detailing.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams during execution.
• Participate in site visits to review progress and ensure design intent.
• Maintain project drawings and documentation throughout all stages.
• Support timely delivery of documentation and project deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
• 0–2 years of internship or professional experience in architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and architectural presentation or visualization software.
• Understanding of architectural planning, drafting, technical documentation, and detailing.
• Familiarity with residential construction methods and building materials.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project tasks.
