Junior Android Developer (Kotlin & Jetpack Compose)

About the role

Pixster Studio LLP is looking for a talented Android Developer to join its product team in Ahmedabad. You will design, develop, and maintain high‑performance Android applications that incorporate cutting‑edge AI tools, supporting over 100 live products across multiple verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance Android applications.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend teams to create intuitive, fluid user experiences.
• Debug and optimise app performance across a range of devices.
• Integrate third‑party APIs, payment gateways, and AI‑driven services.
• Implement intelligent features using Google ML Kit, TensorFlow Lite, OpenAI APIs, or similar tools.
• Ensure robust security and data protection, especially for AI models.
• Conduct code reviews and follow best practices for maintainability and scalability.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Android development trends, AI innovations, and performance techniques.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and hands‑on experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Strong understanding of MVVM/MVP architecture and Jetpack components.
• Experience with REST APIs, Room Database, Firebase, and third‑party libraries.
• Exposure to AI tools/APIs such as Google ML Kit, TensorFlow Lite, or OpenAI (preferred).
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Play Store deployment.
• Analytical mindset, collaborative attitude, and excellent communication skills.
